What I Do When I’m Anxious

Growing up, I’ve struggled with what to do when I have a lingering feeling of anxiety. Not full-fledged, near-panic attack anxiety, but when the little voice in the back of my head starts to nag at me. One of my family friends, Sammy, is one year away from getting her Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and she has helped me so much with improving my mental health. She has given me so many tips on how to deal with anxiety that helped me get through junior year. Here are the things that I’ve found help me most when I start to notice my anxiety flaring up.
